Conference 2015
redcell.gif (35 bytes)

Date: 25 February 2016

Venue: The Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, London, SW1

Chairman: David Evans

The annual Motor Law Conference brings together industry leaders and delegates in discussion on all the current legal issues and provides an excellent opportunity for networking with industry colleagues. This year we are proud to include in the programme the Anthea Worsdall memorial lecture, which will be given by Prof Geoffrey Woodroffe, formerly Director of the Centre for Consumer and Commercial Law Research at Brunel University and author of Woodroffe and Lowe's Consumer Law and Practice. He will talk about the Consumer Rights Act.

Key areas for discussion this year will include emissions legislation, cheat devices and the legal fallout from the Dieselgate affair; the impact of legal protection of software on the right to repair; some important cases on consumer law; and aspects of the Consumer Rights Act of particular interest to the industry.

As usual our team of expert speakers, under our regular chairman, David Evans, will consider how the motor industry is adapting or should adapt to deal with the challenges presented. The conference again provided the ideal opportunity for delegates, lawyers and non-lawyers alike, to meet colleagues and join in the debate.

You can download a booking form from here. The programme will be added to as it develops.
